The Four Minute Fat Burn is based around the Tabata protocol, used by personal trainers around the world to help clients burn fat, get fit and tone up. The beauty here is, you don’t need to pay a personal trainer for the info and no-one needs to watch you sweat! Everything you need is right here – from exercises with instructions to workouts with videos – and there’s even a workout timer so you know when to work and rest without having to look at your watch. You don’t even need to be in a gym. All of the exercises have been designed so they can be done anywhere – at home, at work, on holiday, in the park. Burn that fat wherever you like.

How does the Four Minute Fat Burn work?

It’s really simple. Pick a workout you want to do to burn fat. There are loads to choose from on the workout page. Some target certain areas of the body, like your bum, legs or upper body. Others give you an all-over workout that’ll help get your metabolism up and burning fat, even when you’re not actually working out!Check out the instructions for the exercises, watch the videos for a guide and when you’re ready, start the workout. Each workout is just 4 minutes. And in that 4 minutes you also get rest times. The four minutes is broken down into 8 intervals, which each last 30 seconds. That’s 20 seconds of working out, followed by rest for the remaining 10 seconds. It’s down to you how hard you work in that 20 seconds. To get the best results, you need to give it 120% of your effort. After all, it’s only for 20 seconds then you get a rest for 10 seconds. Then you do it again. Before you know it the four minutes will be up.

Do I need weights or exercise equipment to do the FMFB?

No, you just need you and the desire to lose weight and burn fat. All the workouts in the app have been designed so they can be done using your own body weight for resistance (many experts agree that’s the best way), meaning there is no need for extra weights or any other gym equipment. All the workouts and exercises come with instructions and video guides, so you know exactly what to do and how to do it. You don’t need to have ever stepped into a gym before.
